Keeping Safe During COVID-19

We are happy to share, we will be inviting clients to join their pets inside our hospital again and look forward to seeing you and your pets soon!
Beginning Monday, 8/17/2020, we will allow one adult to accompany their pet into our hospital for their pet’s appointment. In order to limit exposure between people, we ask you to wait in your car and send us a text message at (201) 646-5001 to check-in when you arrive. We will let you know when you can meet us at the front door.

Once you arrive at our front door, we will be performing a contactless check of your temperature and will ask you the following series of health questions to ensure we keep everyone safe:
1.) Are you or anyone in your household under evaluation for COVID-19?
2.) Are you experiencing any of the following symptoms?
• Fever or feeling feverish (chills, sweating)
• New cough
• Difficulty breathing
• Sore throat
• Muscle aches or body aches
• New loss of taste or smell

Once we complete the series of health questions, we will then ask you to sanitize your hands before entering the hospital and we will escort you and your pet into our waiting area where you can sit at the appropriate seat. A staff member will let you know when we are ready to see your pet and they will take you both into the exam room. Once your pet’s exam is complete, we will then process your payment while in the exam room and will schedule any necessary follow-up visits. We will ask all clients to remain seated in the exam rooms and maintain social distancing for the duration of your pet’s exam.

Our staff is required to continue to wear a mask for everyone's protection, and our clients are required to continue to bring and properly wear a mask for curbside services and when entering the hospital. Our floors will be marked to indicate appropriate social distancing measures for our clients to follow as well.

All appointments with our technicians will continue to be handled curbside, as well as medication and pet food pick-ups. Please know, if you prefer a curbside appointment, we will proceed in that manner for you and your pet.
